[Week 30: Inspired by a Tutorial] It means no worries!

My final week! I have had a lot of fun finding the perfect Jamberry mani to use each week for this challenge ๐Ÿ™‚ yes I am a consultant for Jamberry, but honesty, the main reason I have done this is to share how easy it is to get cute manis!

I loved doing this challenge 4 years ago, but I spent hours each day trying to get perfect manis! This round, I have had instant nail art in under an hour! I think in the last 30 weeks I have found my perfect application technique ๐Ÿ™‚

This weeks theme is inspired by a tutorial, I was inspired by Cute Polish’s Lion King Tutorial, which you can see here!

Originally, I had planned to create my own tutorial……. but, about a month ago, Jamberry announced their collaboration with Disney had finally got the green lights to bringย the “Disney Collection by Jamberry” to Australia and New Zealand, which includes a range of characters, including… THE LION KING! How could I pass up this opportunity to sport ‘Hakuna Matata’

w30

Hakuna Matata definitely needs to be my motto for the next week! With surgery on my toes and preparing forย exams next week at uni – ย I am need of ‘no worries’ ๐Ÿ˜› ย once exams are done I will do that tutorial I was planning to do and a wrap up of this challenge ๐Ÿ™‚

[Week 23: Inspired by a Movie] I volunteer as tribute!

As tribute to quick and cute manis! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I would have loved to put more time into this weeks mani but its has to be a quick mani this week! Lots of assignments due ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

w 23 old

I really wish I still had time to do detailed manis like my previous Rio attempt but I just don’t have time with uni, work and life! Cue the Jamberry wraps which I can quickly slap on and have my pretty manis again!

In case you can’t tell, this weeks mani is inspired by the Hunger Games, as I am wearing a retired wrap called ‘Catch Fire’ ๐Ÿ™‚ if you are loving the style, this bright orange wrap with gold base is similar to a current wrap in a pretty mint green called ‘Iced.’I have added an accent of a current wrap called ‘Gold Sparkle’ which is the perfect neutral accent nail!

[Week 22: Inspired by a Song] I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22!

Week 22! “I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22!” even though I frequently forget I am not anymore ahaha… Bet you can’t guess what I was listening to when I decided on this mani? Taylor Swift of course!

I amย still pretty proud of my previous attempt… “It was a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater” but again, I don’t have the time to invest into my nails now that I have to adult ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

w 22 old

I remember last year when ‘Faux Fox’ came out, I thought it was ADORABLE and was lucky to get my hands on a sheet as it was part of last years Thanksgiving range. But”they are the hunters, we are the foxes!” This wrap is a pretty pale grey with a cute little fox peeping up on one half of the wraps, and his little tail on the other sides ๐Ÿ™‚

w 22

I have paired Faux Fox with one of the StyleBox Exclusives that were released here in Australia a few weeks ago, ‘Vintage Meets Modern Grey’ it again is a classic light grey with a white wood grain print – which makes me want to sayย “are we out of the woods?

I think that’s almost as many Taylor references I can squeeze into one blog post… so it is time to “shake it off” with my new signature “style” jamicure ๐Ÿ˜›

[Week 11: Polka Dot] Crushing on Polka

I have been feeling a bit stressed and flat the last few days :/ so decided it was time for something bright & fun to get rid of those winter blues!

My 2012 attempt of dots wasn’t tooooo bad, I quite liked this pattern:

This weeks mani is using the April Host Exclusive wrap mixed with Trushine Gel in Crushing on Coral. It makes me feel like I’m going to the circus ๐Ÿ™‚

๏ปฟ[Week 9: Rainbow] Colour Crush

I am totally ready to be back to my bright colours!!! Going to need it to get me through this week of hibernation for exams next week and sudden wintery snap!

I present my, ahh, creative… attempt at rainbow from 2012:

I think my Jamberry attempt is much prettier! This was the March 2016 Sister Style (which is the exclusive wrap of the month) it was called colour crush – or color crush depending on where you live ๐Ÿ˜‰ I love how some of this wrap is glittery, and some of it is glossy! It looks amazing (wish it was a permanent wrap!)

Hope you all have a great week!ย Have a look HERE to see other cute, quick and easy manis you can do at home ๐Ÿ™‚

[Week 2: Orange] or is it Peach?

I have to be honest! Today’s mani Monday almost didn’t happen, so I am just going to continue to sip away on my peach and raspberry herbal tea while I type to my little hearts content!

Sorry guys, but orange has to be one of my least favourite colours. When I did this last time, I literally drove to my local beauty store & purchased the cheapest orange nail polish I could find! I was still getting into nails back then, and again… I think I painted more of my cuticles than my nails ๐Ÿ˜›

This weeks mani is from the new Autumn catalogue featuring a wrap called ‘Peaches & Cream’ which is a glossy, mixed mani sheet. Half the sheet has a white polka dot print, while the other half is covered with cute little peaches! I love it!

I pretty much always finish my manis off with Trushine Gel, when you have to wash your hands a hundred times a day at work, it just helps give it that extra durability.

Hope you all have a wonderful week & next week is yellow! (I have been planning my yellow mani for a long time… It makes me feel so summery :))
